There's a custom in Romania, where I came from. On a child's first birthday, he or she is handed a tray with various symbolic items to pick from — things that hint at what the child might grow up to do in life. Most children only pick one item and some, none at all. But not me. I picked a pair of gold earrings, a 100 bill in national currency, a checkbook, a mirror, and a pen. And the first thing people noticed about me when growing up was that I loved art, jewelry, nice clothes, and beautiful places, pretty much all the finest things in life.
The idea of spreading the joy trough an apparel line was a long time coming. I started years ago with a physical store that did great with high end imported merchandise. But with my career taking a different turn and moving across the ocean, that store closed its doors.
Now, with a long history in internet entrepreneurship, Seasonally Yours started becoming an obsession. But it didn't materialize until I dropped the idea of selling on a marketplace. And it makes sense, because I'm an artist, I'm not selling items and trends, I'm selling a vibe.
And because the store started materializing right before my birthday, I thought I should offer an introductory collection called Leo. Because I'm a Leo. But also, because the Lion symbolizes all the values the world needs more than ever today: strength, courage, protection, leadership, and spiritual authority.
The lion, as the king of the jungle is also associated with royalty, divinity, the sun, and the heart. This is why the predominant colors of this collection are gold, white, yellow, and black, each of them also carrying a powerful positive symbolism.
White represents purity, clarity, new beginnings, light, and spiritual illumination. It's my favorite color, and definitely, the ideal one for summer.
Yellow symbolizes optimism, intellect, creativity, alertness, hope, positivity, enthusiasm, self-assurance, and the sun itself.
Black carries the aura of mystery, power, protection, transformation, and elegance... And, if you ask me, it looks great with every evening attire and so luxurious when paired with gold.
And gold? Don't get me started... It's the metal I absolutely love, the symbol of wealth, power, status, divinity, truth, wisdom, immortality, enlightenment, higher consciousness, love, achievement, luxury, and a safe haven.
I can't promise you a safe heaven, but the confidence of leonine energy woven in my designs may help you build your own and shine at your full potential.
The Leo Collection is more than a theme. It’s a piece of my story, the core of my personality, and the energy I want to share with the world.
